Although breastfeeding may be considered the "natural way" to feed your baby, there is still much to learn to enhance a successful nursing relationship. The program covers several topics including: advantages of breastfeeding, breastfeeding at home, the working mom, and beyond. This is a single, two-hour class taught by our Infant Feeding Support Nurse. Fathers-to-be are encouraged. The nurse provides follow-up on an individual basis after your baby is born.

Ingalls Hospice sponsors every Monday at 2 p.m. and every third Saturday at 11 a.m. a group just for you. Joining a support group provides a safe place for one to grieve with others who have had similar experiences. Sharing your feelings helps you to realize that you are not the only one and that what you are going through is not “crazy”.
