Urgent Aid Centers
Overview
As hospital emergency rooms across the country become more crowded, it's no wonder patients often face very long waiting times. Hospital emergency departments are not always the most appropriate level of care for patients with injuries or illnesses that could be managed in a less intense environment. Ingalls 24-Hour Urgent Aid Centers are designed to address the need for fast, efficient, quality lower-level emergency care in the South Suburbs — seven days a week. And with convenient locations in Tinley Park, Calumet City and Flossmoor, access to care is never more than a short drive from home or work.
Ingalls 24-hour Urgent Aid offers emergency medical care by registered nurses and physicians without an appointment. Urgent Aid is appropriate emergency care for non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries. Urgent Aid is not intended to replace your primary care doctor, but to provide patients with alternatives for emergencies when doctor's offices are closed, and when a hospital's main emergency department is not needed.
