Urgent Aid Centers
Overview
As hospital emergency rooms across the country become more crowded with seriously ill or injured patients, it's no wonder patients with more minor health concerns often face very long waiting times. Ingalls 24-Hour Urgent Aid Centers were designed to address the need for fast, efficient, quality care in the South Suburbs — seven days a week.
That means patients receive the quality care they've come to expect from Ingalls in a center that specifically addresses their particular type of health concerns. And with convenient locations in Tinley Park, Calumet City and Flossmoor, access to care is never more than a short drive from home or work.
Ingalls 24-hour centers aren't intended to replace a visit to your own doctor, but to supplement that care when he/she may not be available. Any recommended medical follow-up is always referred to your own primary care physician (PCP). If you don't already have a doctor, we'll be happy to help you find one.
And because more serious illnesses and injuries are also part of life's twists and turns, there is Ingalls Emergency Department.
Located at our hospital campus in Harvey, here you'll find an experienced team of emergency medical professionals backed by the latest diagnostic technology. Our hospital-based Emergency Department accepts patients by ambulance or on a walk-in basis.
