Physicians
Our physiatrists are physicians who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation. They function as the team leader in each patient's rehabilitation program and goal setting with the referring physician and the interdisciplinary team. Our physiatrists see patients daily in the inpatient program. Once discharged, patients who participate in an outpatient therapy program are seen by a physiatrist weekly.

Our interdisciplinary team of rehabilitation experts design specific, goal-oriented rehabilitation plans to help you regain their strength and independence. These include physical, occupational and speech therapies, specialized nursing services, recreational therapy, nutritional and psychological counseling and care coordination. This care team meets weekly to discuss the patient's goals, treatment plan and progress. Before discharge, a family conference and instruction day is held to discuss the patient's progress and discharge needs
