At Ingalls, you'll be glad to know that we don't wait for new cancer treatments to become standard. We set the standard. In fact, our capabilities are so strong that Ingalls is one of just 17 cancer programs in Illinois to be accredited by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer as a Comprehensive Cancer Program — the highest distinction given to community hospitals. This special designation means that Ingalls offers virtually all the cancer services you need — in a program led by experienced, nationally recognized doctors and surgeons who are credentialed to participate in the most advanced clinical trials sponsored by the National Cancer Institute and national pharmaceuticals. Ingalls is one of only two hospitals in Illinois accredited by the American College of Radiology.
