Paperless billing
We are pleased to now offer a paperless billing option to our patients. When you sign up for this service, you will receive email statements
rather than paper statements. In addition, you'll be able to effectively manage your account online. Online bill viewing and payment is among the
new features available for patients of Ingalls Health System.
The online billing service offers a convenient, secure way to view and pay bills online. It provides the exact same level of service and
detail as the paper statements with the added convenience of the internet and availability 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When you register
for online billing, you no longer will receive paper statements from Ingalls Health System.
Additional resources available through this system include information on Medicare and Medicaid, details about our billing system and

Uninsured Patients
Ingalls provides a 25% discount from total charges for hospital services for uninsured patients. This discount is applicable for hospital services only; physicians involved in your care should be contacted directly regarding their charges.
Ingalls offers a wide range of programs to assist patients with their medical bills and can assist patients with applying for various programs (Illinois Medicaid, Kid Care, Crime Victims). Patients with earned income less than 200% of the U.S. poverty level are eligible for a 100% reduction of hospital total charges through the hospital’s Charity Care Program.
