Maternity and Children's Services
Ingalls has the largest labor, delivery, recovery and post-partum (LDRP) Maternity Suites unit in the area, with a focus on a safe and warm family environment along with the advanced support of a Level II special care nursery and the expertise of University of Chicago neonatologists to treat infants with more complex medical.
Emergency Medicine
No matter what time it is, Ingalls is ready to take care of you. Our hospital-based Emergency Department features a "fast track" area for nonlife-threatening emergencies and a Peds Express dedicated to caring for our youngest patients. And, Ingalls is the only area health system to offer the convenience of Urgent Aid Centers as an extension of the hospital's emergency department. Ingalls Urgent Aids are available 24/7/365 in Flossmoor, Tinley Park and Calumet City for the care of minor illnesses and injuries that just can't wait.
