Ingalls Sports Medicine
Helping you get back in the game
If you or a family member has been sidelined with a sports injury, you can count on the fellowship-trained sports medicine doctors at Ingalls. They specialize in treating athletes and active individuals of all ages – from small children to adults. Our doctors collaborate closely with physical therapists, physiatrists, athletic trainers, sports psychologists and sports nutritionists, so we’ve got a solution for you, no matter what your injury.
Commonly performed procedures include anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction, meniscectomies (removal of knee cartilage), rotator cuff repair, treatment of shoulder instability, knee ligament reconstruction and revision, and arthroscopy of the knee, shoulder, elbow, ankle and hip. We also offer cartilage restoration techniques, growth plate-sparing ACL reconstruction and reverse shoulder prosthesis.
If your child or teen has a sports-related injury or medical problem, fellowship-trained pediatric sports medicine specialists at Ingalls treat a wide range of conditions, including sprains and strains, jumper’s knee, “little league elbow,” Osgood-Schlatter disease and swimmer’s shoulder.
